Lightning is a burst of electrical energy caused by imbalanced charges in the sky. It can strike the ground, trees, or even human bodies.

The temperature during a lightning strike can reach up to 30,000°C—hotter than the surface of the sun! It can cause death within a second.

⚡ Lightning- prone districts in Bangladesh:-Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Kishoreganj, Jamalpur. In recent years, almost every district has experienced lightning to some extent.

⚠️ statistics in Bangladesh:-According to WHO and the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, 80% of lightning deaths occur in open spaces.

✖️Avoid fields, crop lands, water bodies, or elevated areas.

✖️Do not take shelter under trees.

✖️Turn off electrical appliances at home.

✖️Avoid using mobile phones and umbrellas during lightning.
